About Us

Building the deployable future, one bio-composite panel at a time

Mycelium-composite furniture, structures & shelters — built to fold, ship, and assemble anywhere.

Every fixdome product starts as the same living composite: natural plant fibre bound together by mycelium, the root network of fungi, then hot-pressed into a dense, load-bearing panel.

Our product lines include:

Our products are cost-effective, customizable, and easily transportable. While our skilled team can assemble your home or cottage in just days, our drone-deployed shelters can be used to build in hard-to-reach terrains. Our shelters are ideal for eco-resorts, farmhouses, temporary housing, base camps, high-altitude border deployment, and disaster-relief scenarios. Our tiles and bricks can be used for urban living and commercial construction. Our furniture can be part of any home or office proud to contribute to carbon negativity and global sustainability.

A Bengaluru-based deep-tech venture

fixdome is a Bengaluru-based deep-tech venture building modular systems out of mycelium bio-composite — a material grown from natural plant fibre bound together by mycelium, rather than manufactured from steel, concrete, or conventional engineered wood.

One platform, four product lines

The same core material platform underpins everything we make: flat-pack furniture that assembles without power tools, mortar-free interlocking tiles and bricks for structural systems, complete deployable eco-habitat domes, and — reinforced for aerial transport — shelters that can be delivered by heavy-lift drone to disaster-relief and remote sites.

Two founders, decades of experience

We started as two co-founders combining decades of experience in construction technology and industrial product development, working out of an existing small-scale mycelium cultivation and prototyping setup in North Bangalore. Our roadmap moves in five phases — from bootstrap prototyping through a fully built-out facility producing all four product lines at scale.

What we believe

Materials should be able to do more with less: less carbon, less weight, less time between "we need this" and "it's here and assembled." A dining table, a wall tile, and a disaster relief shelter can all come from the same sustainable production line if the underlying material is engineered right.
